• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning
• Perform maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Complete accurate multipoint vehicle inspections
• Use diagnostic equipment and factory resources to identify vehicle concerns
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with Nissan guidelines
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify customer concerns and completed repairs
• Document findings, recommendations, and completed work clearly on each repair order
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts personnel, and management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Previous professional automotive repair experience required
• Nissan or INFINITI factory certification is a major plus
• ASE certifications are preferred
• North Carolina Safety and Emissions Inspection License is a plus
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to accurately follow repair procedures and technical information
• Must provide or have access to the necessary hand tools for the position
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work well as part of a team
