Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 annually (based on full-time equivalency)

Compensation is prorated based on the number of days worked per week.

We're growing and looking for an experienced part-time HR Director Consultant to join our award-winning team.

This is a part-time, W-2 employee position with a consistent, ongoing schedule supporting clients onsite during standard business hours throughout the Cleveland area.

What You'll Do

As an HR Director Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to clients across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic and tactical HR consulting aligned with business goals.
  • Advise executives and leadership teams on complex HR matters.
  • Serve as a hands-on consultant balancing strategy, project execution, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Lead HR projects, including HR systems implementation and process improvements.
  • Guide organizational design, change management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and support corrective action processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Influence culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives, including workforce planning, job descriptions, interview strategy, and hiring process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the ConnectedHR and ConnectedTALENT teams to share knowledge and best practices.


Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR projects, systems implementation, and process improvements.
  • Strong working knowledge across all core HR disciplines.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites throughout the Cleveland metropolitan area.
  • Professional, confident, and highly collaborative.
