Position Overview
This position is contingent upon contract award. Resicum International LLC is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential contract award supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720 STG), Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). Selection, hiring, and employment are contingent upon successful contract award, funding authorization, and completion of all required pre-employment requirements.
Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to support the development, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement of Special Operations training programs. The Curriculum Developer serves as the primary instructional design professional responsible for creating effective and engaging training products that enhance the readiness and operational effectiveness of Air Force Special Tactics personnel.
Working closely with operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructors, and government leadership, the Curriculum Developer applies Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles to develop classroom, distance learning, and blended learning solutions. This position supports the creation of lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, assessments, and other instructional resources aligned with Department of Defense training standards and operational requirements.
This is a remote position supporting Special Operations training initiatives associated with Hurlburt Field, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update Special Tactics training curriculum and instructional materials.
- Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies to develop classroom, virtual, and blended learning solutions.
- Create detailed lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, training aids, and curriculum documentation.
- Conduct curriculum research, analysis, and evaluation to identify opportunities for training improvement.
- Collaborate with operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and mission relevance.
- Develop instructional objectives, assessments, and performance-based evaluation tools.
- Review and update existing curriculum based on operational requirements, learner feedback, and evolving mission needs.
- Support resident and distance-learning instruction as required.
- Ensure instructional products comply with Department of Defense training standards and best practices.
- Assist with curriculum modernization, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with instructors, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness and alignment with mission objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting Department of Defense instructional design, curriculum development, or training development efforts.
- Demonstrated experience applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
- Experience developing military training curriculum, lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, and instructional documentation.
- Strong technical writing, editing, and curriculum documentation skills.
- Experience conducting curriculum analysis, training evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to develop instructional objectives, assessments, and performance-based training materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with military leadership, instructors, and operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting project timelines and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), or other Special Operations organizations.
- Experience developing military training programs utilizing the ADDIE model or other recognized Instructional Systems Design methodologies.
- Experience developing blended learning, distance learning, and virtual training solutions.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms.
- Experience developing competency-based training programs.
- Previous Department of Defense contractor experience.
- Experience working with military doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
