The Why Behind Wellvana:

The healthcare system isn’t designed for health. We’re designed to change that. We’re Wellvana, and we help doctors deliver life-changing healthcare.

Through our elevated value-based care programs, we’re revitalizing an antiquated system that’s far too long relied on misaligned incentives that reward quantity of care not the quality of it.

Our enlightened approach—covering everything from care coordination to clinical documentation education to marketing— ties the healthy outcomes of patients directly to shared savings for primary care providers, health systems and payors.

Providers in our curated network keep their independence, reduce their administrative headaches, and spend more time with patients. Patients, in turn, get an elevated experience with coordinated care between appointments that is nothing short of life-changing.

Named 2024 "Best in Business" and 2023 "Best Place to Work" by Nashville Business Journal, we’re one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in America because what we do works. This is the way medicine is meant to be.

Clarity on the Role:

This role is a technical data integration position at Wellvana, focused on managing end-to-end clinical data integration projects with provider partners and EHR vendors in support of value-based care (VBC) programs and CMS quality reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who bridges the gap between clinical, technical, and business stakeholders — translating complex data and interface requirements into clear guidance for partner organizations, managing timelines and deliverables, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned. Core technical skills include HL7/QRDA/CCDA standards, SQL/BigQuery, and hands-on experience with EMR systems, with a strong emphasis on data quality, troubleshooting, and hands-on project leadership. The role also involves driving process improvements and contributing to new integration methods and data specifications in a fast-moving healthcare environment.

  • Communicate Across Clinical, Technical, and Business Stakeholders
  • Effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business users by clearly documenting integration steps, communicating status updates, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Interface Accuracy
  • Conduct detailed reviews of incoming data files for structure and content, support partners with QA processes, and troubleshoot interface issues to ensure high data fidelity and support performance-based contracts.
  • Maintain Project Documentation and Partner Engagement
  • Track partner interactions via email and calls, maintain up-to-date project documentation, and contribute to business process documentation and lessons learned to inform continuous improvement.
  • Drive Operational Excellence and Process Improvement
  • Identify areas for enhancement within integration workflows, recommend refinements to technical and operational standards, and contribute to the evolution of integration best practices in a dynamic VBC environment.
  • Develop Platform Expertise and Troubleshoot Technical Issues
  • Become a superuser of the internal platform, leveraging both front-end and back-end tools (e.g., SQL environments) to analyze and resolve complex data and integration issues within defined SLAs.
  • Support Technical Initiatives
  • Collaborate on technical projects to enhance data integration, interoperability, and system functionality, including the deployment of new EHR vendor-specific integration methods and design and implementation of new data specifications.
