Job Summary
As a Senior Paid Media Manager, you will serve as the strategic lead and paid media authority for our premiere healthcare accounts. Rather than focusing on day-to-day campaign mechanics, your primary focus is developing performance marketing strategies and driving exceptional results for our clients.
You will oversee campaign performance, design quarterly testing roadmaps, approve key media reallocations, and ensure rigorous quality assurance across all multi-channel media plans. You’ll serve as the go-to strategic partner for internal account teams and the final escalation point for technical or performance challenges, working closely with Paid Media Managers (PMMs) and Specialists to elevate their work and support their growth.
If you are a self-starter who thrives on ownership, strategic problem-solving, and helping team members succeed in a fast-paced agency setting, we’d love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall paid media strategy across assigned accounts. Partner with account teams to recommend the best channel mix, budget allocations, and targeting frameworks tailored to client goals.
- Keep a pulse on portfolio coverage across healthcare service lines. Proactively identify performance gaps, rebalance media mix as needed, and ensure campaigns stay aligned with business priorities.
- Monitor macro performance trends, step in when performance dips, and provide clear, actionable direction to PMMs to keep campaigns efficient and on track to hit CPA targets.
- Serve as the final reviewer before launch to ensure campaign builds accurately match strategic outlines, follow naming conventions, and meet account standards.
- Conduct monthly account check-ins to review optimization logs, maintain account consistency, and offer strategic ideas to both digital and account teams.
- Lead the quarterly testing roadmap—defining hypotheses, sequencing tests, and setting clear decision criteria for ad copy, messaging, and strategic adjustments.
- Analyze search patterns and creative performance across accounts to spot bigger opportunities and systemic trends.
- Translate campaign data into clear executive narratives, highlighting key trends, performance wins/losses, and actionable recommendations for future growth.
- Act as the final point of escalation for performance anomalies, tracking issues, or landing page friction, stepping in when high-level strategy shifts are required.
Requirements
- 8+ years of paid media management experience, including at least 3 years spent navigating the healthcare marketing landscape and regulatory considerations.
- Hands-on mastery of major platforms—including Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta, Microsoft Ads, and DSPs—along with a deep understanding of attribution and conversion tracking.
- Proven track record of building media mix plans, managing high-level budget allocations, and maintaining solid QA standards across multi-channel portfolios.
- Experience advising and mentoring PMMs and Specialists, helping them sharpen their approach and achieve better outcomes through your guidance.
- Ability to transform complex dataset trends (across ad platform tools, GA4 and Looker Studio) into clear campaign stories and actionable strategy.
- Strong decision-making skills with a history of resolving complex performance issues, presenting clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote agency environment.
