Job Summary
The Executive Assistant for QRM performs diversified administrative functions that facilitate the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality, risk, and safety programs. Provides clerical support, interprets policies, creates, and distributes complex reports that support various quality/risk programs.
Essential Job Functions

- Assist in preparing reports, policy management, policy interpretation for staff and recordkeeping related to Quality/Risk management, support services, Infection Control, Employee Health, and Health & Safety.
- Reviews and complies with general hospital and departmental policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations including CMS/OIG corporate compliance regulations.
- Serves as a resource for employee health screens in the absence of the Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse using established protocols.
- Assists in the orientation and development of personnel and students according to department needs.
Other Job Duties
- Manages assigned duties and responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Makes decisions and establishes work priorities to support essential operations effectively and timely.
- Assists Infection Control practitioner in completing annual TB assessment activities according to regulations.
- Able to assist personnel as a resource in use, interpretation and explanation of policies/procedures or regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Two years of higher education.
- Two years of related secretarial/office experience with an emphasis on customer service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and database management.
- Basic familiarity with medical, healthcare, and scientific terms preferred.
- Bilingual/Multilingual preferred.
Physical Aspects of the Job
- Work involves sitting, standing, stooping, and bending, walking throughout the hospital and between physician's office locations outside the hospital. Lifts 10-30 pounds, most frequent lifts 10-15 pounds.
- Work requires finger/hand dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
- Works in clean, well-lighted, climate-controlled environment. Minimal hazards under normal conditions.
