Summary:

The Regional Revenue Manager supports the Revenue Management strategy for a subset of properties within an assigned area, working under the direction of the Area/Regional Director of Revenue Management. They help drive performance through day-to-day management of room inventory, market mix, and pricing execution for their assigned hotels.


The ideal time zone for this role is Central, however, we are open to hiring a candidate working in any US time zone.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in forecasting and support strategy execution for assigned properties, under the guidance of the Area/Regional Director of Revenue Management
  • Maintain working knowledge of transient, group, and catering segments and research market presence for individual properties
  • Demonstrate great time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Apply revenue management concepts, processes, and systems to day-to-day property operations, escalating trends and issues to the Area/Regional Director as needed
  • Support the integration of brand strategies and cultures into revenue plans for assigned properties
  • Perform daily analysis and reporting of competitive benchmarks and market trends for assigned properties
  • Execute and adjust pricing strategies for each assigned property in line with Director-approved strategy
  • Manage day-to-day third-party distribution for assigned properties
  • Analyze monthly hotel performance and prepare summary reports, flagging recommendations to the Area/Regional Director
  • Practice finding less expensive means to reduce the cost of distribution
  • Support the annual revenue budget process by providing property-level data and analysis
  • Provide day-to-day revenue management guidance and support to on-property teams
  • Visit hotels to get first-hand knowledge of revenue management issues and other key areas
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in hospitality revenue management or hotel operations
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Marriott and Hilton revenue system knowledge preferred; IHG and Hyatt a plus
  • Have a strong ability to communicate
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or have relevant experience
  • One Yield V2 and GRO certifications are a plus
  • Working knowledge of Amadeus and Lighthouse BI products a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
