The Brand Ambassador's primary responsibility is driving product sales through Off-Premise Samplings, On-Premise Promotions and providing special event activations support. Key duties include merchandising, executing both on-premise and off-premise promotions, supporting brewery events, and contributing to overall sales team objectives. This role requires evening and weekend availability (Thursday – Sunday). The Brand Ambassador reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Real Ale Brewing Company (RABC) with passion, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Conduct scheduled samplings at Off-Premise retail establishments
- Periodically conduct effective promotions at On-Premise retail establishments and special events activations.
- Increase sales across your assigned territory, focusing on both on-premise and off premise samplings and promotions.
- Merchandise On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts.
- Work with the Sales Representatives and Sales Director to leverage retail activations to boost sales at accounts.
- Arrive on time and remain until the conclusion of scheduled samplings, promotions and special event activations.
- Provide timely and accurate sales, customer interaction, and marketing data from all off-premise samplings.

- Reside within the area for which the position covers – either Austin, San Antonio, or Hill Country (approximately a 50-mile radius from Blanco)
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver license without any alcohol related offenses
- Must have a reliable automobile to use every day, and, maintain a minimum coverage of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident; provide proof of coverage twice yearly
- Must maintain TABC Server Certification
- Must be available Thursday - Sunday and be available to work primarily afternoons and evenings but occasionally morning to afternoon hours
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly
- Must be able stand and/or walk for several hours at once
- Adhere to all plant safety policies, including GMP and food safety guidelines
- Adhere to company policies while representing RABC in the market
- Assist with special events at the brewery

- Well-organized, intuitive, and possess a healthy sense of urgency
- An excellent communicator
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook or other email platform
- Well-versed on the following key aspects after training has been completed
- The complete history of Real Ale Brewing
- A strong understanding of all RABC products, including technical and brewing specifications, tasting notes and key selling points
- A solid understanding of the brewing process a plus – particularly how it applies t to RABC’s brands
- Customer-focused and competent in problem solving

This is part-time (approx. 20hrs/week), non-exempt position, reporting to the Sales Director.
Hours of work will be published in advance by the CAM/Director of Sales, managing the territory in which the sampling or special event is taking place.
