Description

  

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable bookkeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting basic human resources activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


This position requires a pre-employment background and drug test


Key Responsibilities

Accounting

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work closely with management to monitor budgets and control expenses.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding and new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
  • Support payroll preparation by verifying employee hours and documentation.
  • Help administer employee benefits and respond to general HR inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.



Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience with accounting software (Sage, or similar ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR processes is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background and drug test
