GranCo is looking for an experienced Corian / Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team.

We're looking for someone who knows how to turn solid-surface material into a quality finished product. If you have hands-on experience fabricating Corian or other solid-surface materials, can work accurately from measurements and specifications, and take pride in craftsmanship, we'd like to hear from you.

Previous solid-surface fabrication experience is required.

What You'll Do

As a Solid Surface Fabricator, you'll work with our production team to fabricate custom countertop and surface products to customer specifications. Responsibilities include:

• Fabricate Corian and other solid-surface countertop materials 
• Measure, cut, shape, route, sand, and finish material according to job specifications 
• Create and finish seams, edges, cutouts, backsplashes, and other required components 
• Use routers, saws, sanders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment safely and accurately 
• Read measurements, drawings, templates, and job specifications 
• Perform detailed finishing work to produce smooth, professional surfaces 
• Inspect completed pieces for measurements, fit, finish, and overall quality 
• Identify fabrication issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs 
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage 
• Work with other production team members to keep jobs moving through the shop 
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work area 
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Previous Corian or solid-surface fabrication experience required 
• Experience cutting, routing, seaming, sanding, and finishing solid-surface materials 
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work from measurements 
• Experience using fabrication hand and power tools 
• Ability to read and follow job specifications, drawings, or templates 
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship 
• Ability to identify and correct fabrication or finishing issues 
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced fabrication/shop environment 
• Strong commitment to quality and safety

Experience with Corian, HI-MACS, Staron, Wilsonart Solid Surface, or similar solid-surface materials is relevant.
