PURE Practice Manager – Job Description

Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Practice Manager provides leadership and administrative oversight for the clinic, managing both clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient operations, high-quality patient care, and achievement of performance goals. This role is responsible for driving productivity, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall practice success.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Practice Management

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a high-quality patient experience

· Develop and manage the practice budget, including full profit-and-loss accountability for revenue cycle performance, expenses, and financial outcomes

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, charting standards, HIPAA/OSHA requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate front office and clinical staff
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training
  • Foster a positive, ethical, and collaborative work environment
  • Provide coverage as needed and maintain flexibility to support all clinic roles

Patient Experience & Care Coordination

  • Ensure timely scheduling, accurate patient intake, and same-day response to inquiries
  • Oversee accurate scheduling, authorization, and documentation of procedures and surgeries
  • Ensure patients understand and meet financial responsibilities prior to treatment
  • Address concerns from patients, staff, and physicians and resolve issues effectively

Revenue Cycle & Performance Oversight

  • Monitor billing and collections processes, including patient balances and insurance information accuracy
  • Review claim denials and support appeals, re-authorizations, and trend analysis to improve outcomes

Facility & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate facility maintenance, janitorial services, and vendor relationships
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance within budget guidelines

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel and business information
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Marketing & Growth

· Maintains practice social media accounts and online reputation management efforts.

· Identifies opportunities for growth through new referral sources, physician relationship development, and direct to consumer marketing initiatives.

· Tracks growth metrics, referral trends, and marketing performance to inform business development strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Some college coursework (preferred)

Experience

  • 4+ years of supervisory experience (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in a medical office (required); orthopedic experience preferred
  • Experience managing budgets and financial performance (required)

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels (physicians, staff, patients)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Professional demeanor, customer-service orientation, and attention to detail

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, onsite
  • Flexibility to support clinic operations as needed
