Rack Operator, Arizona, AZ
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Rack Operator will be responsible for performing tasks that support production operations by prepping pellets, data entry, meeting daily quotas, and ensuring high-quality standards.
Expected Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM – 1:00 P.M. (First Shift) with possible overtime on Saturdays and Sundays to meet production deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Align parts in the fixtures to clip them in place.
- Deburr parts using various brushes to sweep off lose powder.
- Load parts into hangers that get placed into a furnace.
- Utilize basic computer skills to navigate and input data into production systems, track progress, document results, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Ensure quality of parts being worked on by visual inspection.
- Demonstrates strong sustained attention and concentration skills to maintain focus and productivity on complex tasks over extended periods.
- Achieve daily production targets consistently and effectively, contributing to team efficiency and overall output.
- Communicate effectively with the team.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Criteria For Success
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- MUST be considered a U.S. Person eligible to work in the United States.
- MUST be able to read and write in English.
- Reliable transportation is essential
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with various software applications are necessary
- Possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on can-do attitude.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to keep workspace clean and adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
