About the Job

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for guaranteeing safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction in the field. This role manages staff for the timely and successful delivery, setup, removal, and pickup of all rental equipment per the client's specifications, ensuring every event is executed in accordance with the contract in a cost-efficient, accurate, and safe manner. The Field Operations Supervisor works closely with sales, dispatch, vendors, and clients, and reports to the Field Operations Manager and Operations Manager.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage field staff for the timely and successful delivery, set up, removal, and pick up of all rental equipment per client specifications
  • Oversee production meetings with sales, dispatch, Field Operations, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication and outcomes
  • Promote safety through the Bright Safety Plan, ensuring PPE use and adherence to safety standards
  • Lead training in time management, equipment handling, and installation
  • Ensure compliance with Bright policies and professional standards
  • Assist with fleet management, including repairs, maintenance, and fuel costs
  • Manage labor schedules and develop plans to meet monthly goals
  • Conduct pre-event site visits to ensure all logistics are accounted for
  • Provide dispatch support for efficient routing and meeting client expectations
  • Ensure high-quality inventory and installations to guarantee client satisfaction

What You Bring

Required

  • Event industry experience
  • Proven experience supervising staff, with strong management, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail; adaptable to a fast-paced environment while balancing several events at a time
  • Ability to coordinate field activities across daily, short-term, and long-term production objectives
  • Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company/insurance standards
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Open availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended hours and regularly lift and/or move objects 50–100 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying weather and noise conditions; regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl; specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Event management-related operations experience
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with our clients and team members
  • Familiarity with dispatch, routing, and fleet management systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tent installation, staging, or large-scale event structures
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
  • CDL or experience driving box trucks / 26-ft vehicles
  • Experience reading site plans, CAD layouts, or event diagrams
  • Experience with rental management or inventory software (e.g., Point of Rental)
  • Familiarity with routing/dispatch software (e.g., Samsara)
  • Experience reading site plans, CAD layouts, or event diagrams
