Position Summary
Brighter, Stronger Foundation is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time School-Based Therapist to provide quality, individualized mental health treatment to students, split between Edgewood High School and Deerfield Elementary School within Harford County Public Schools. This role delivers clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention to a growing caseload of clients.
Minimum Requirements for Success
Education & Licensure:
• LGPC/LCPC, LGMFT/LCMFT, or LMSW/LCSW-C/LCSW
• Active Maryland license
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Provide clinical assessment, treatment, and interventions based on best practices and medical necessity guidelines
• Complete diagnostic assessments, measurable treatment plans, and session/clinical documentation in a HIPAA-compliant EHR
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with effective, professional communication with clients, prescribers, and colleagues
• Excellent organization, time-management, and prioritization skills; able to work with minimal supervision
• Spanish speaking preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants encouraged to apply
