We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Machine Shop Assistant for our Command Light Division. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply.
Essential Functions:
- Manual machining
- Knowledge of measuring equipment
- Use of drill press
- Using saws to cut metal
- Learn and retain knowledge of machining
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to contribute in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
Compensation: $18 - $19/Hour DOE
