Full-Time Schedule:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 9:00 AM–6:30 PM 
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM 
  • Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

Are you warm, organized, and great at helping people feel welcome? Join Child Focus as a Client Scheduling Specialist and play an important role in helping children and families access behavioral health services.


In this position, you’ll be one of the first people our clients and families interact with. You’ll schedule appointments, answer questions, maintain accurate records, and help our mental health providers keep their schedules organized and full.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule therapy appointments for behavioral health providers.
  • Welcome and assist clients and families with professionalism and compassion.
  • Answer and direct calls using a multi-line telephone system.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in the electronic health record.
  • Track clinical paperwork and follow up on missing information
  • Request and release client information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Help providers maintain organized and productive schedules.
  • Provide occasional office coverage at other Child Focus locations, including offices in Brown and Hamilton counties.

 What We’re Looking For

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Careful attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
  • The ability to protect confidential information and handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • A dependable, welcoming approach when working with clients, families, and coworkers.

 Experience with scheduling, electronic health records, or a clinical front desk is helpful but not required. Candidates with transferable experience in customer service, reception, call centers, school offices, dental offices, or other scheduling-focused environments are encouraged to apply. 


 

Schedule and Location


This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based primarily at our Clermont County location. 


As-needed coverage at Child Focus offices in Brown and Hamilton counties is required when staffing needs arise. The frequency will vary based on employee absences, open positions, and other operational needs.
