Position Summary
Kunes Auto Group is seeking a Service Lot Attendant to join our growing dealership team. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing service lot, keep vehicles ready for service, and support our service department throughout the day. Whether you've worked in automotive, retail, warehouse, or another active role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career in the automotive industry.
Compensation
- $15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Arrange and maintain service vehicle inventory, keeping the lot orderly and visually appealing
- Monitor and maintain lot cleanliness, including litter removal and proper vehicle parking
- Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels, reporting issues to the Service Manager
- Washing vehicles
- Locate and position vehicles to support the service department throughout the day
- Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate service staff
- Manage vehicle keys, ensuring proper security and accurate logging
- Transport vehicles between locations as required
- Assist with customer deliveries, including basic vehicle walk-throughs
- Support vehicle transfer coordination between dealership locations
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Basic understanding of automotive operations
- Proficiency operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dealership lot for extended periods
- Capable of performing essential job functions with reasonable accommodations
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn—no dealership experience required
