The Impact of this Role:
The Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of creative marketing initiatives across OptiMed’s healthcare organizations. Through graphic design, website management, digital campaigns, content development, and marketing analytics, this role helps strengthen OptiMed’s brands, communicate complex healthcare information clearly, and support continued business growth.
Working closely with the Senior Manager of Sales Marketing, the Marketing Specialist creates polished marketing materials, maintains digital content, supports email and social media campaigns, and helps ensure a consistent brand experience across multiple platforms and company brands. This is a hands-on opportunity for a creative and organized marketing professional to expand their experience in healthcare marketing, digital strategy, analytics, and AI-supported workflows.
What You’ll be Doing:
Graphic Design & Brand Management
- Design brochures, one-pagers, flyers, presentations, trade show materials, and other marketing collateral.
- Create graphics for websites, email campaigns, social media, internal communications, and digital platforms.
- Maintain consistent branding, visual standards, and messaging across multiple company brands.
- Prepare materials for print and digital distribution.
- Update and refine existing materials based on stakeholder feedback and changing business needs.
Digital Marketing
- Assist with the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Create, schedule, and maintain social media content.
- Support digital campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, and business growth.
- Assist with conference, trade show, and event-marketing initiatives.
- Apply search-engine optimization best practices to website and digital content.
Content Development
- Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for websites, emails, brochures, blogs, presentations, and other communications.
- Translate complex healthcare topics into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.
- Assist with internal communications, educational materials, and company announcements.
- Work with internal subject-matter experts to develop accurate and audience-appropriate content.
- Ensure written materials align with brand voice, organizational priorities, and quality standards.
Website Management
- Maintain company websites by updating content, images, forms, resources, and landing pages.
- Perform routine website quality checks to identify outdated content, broken links, formatting issues, or other needed improvements.
- Support the creation and optimization of landing pages.
- Coordinate website updates with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Help ensure website content remains accurate, consistent, accessible, and visually engaging.
Marketing Analytics
- Monitor website traffic, digital engagement, email performance, and campaign results.
- Assist with the preparation of recurring marketing reports and performance summaries.
- Track metrics such as email open rates, click-through rates, website activity, and campaign engagement.
- Identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve marketing performance.
- Support the use of data to guide future content, campaign, and website decisions.
AI & Marketing Technology
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency in content development, design, research, and marketing workflows.
- Explore emerging marketing technologies, digital tools, and industry trends.
- Support AI-assisted content creation while maintaining accuracy, quality, originality, and brand consistency.
- Help identify opportunities to improve marketing processes through automation and new technology.
- Maintain appropriate review and quality-control practices when using AI-generated content.
Team Collaboration
- Support Sales with presentations, proposals, marketing collateral, and client-facing materials.
- Assist departments across the organization with communication and design needs.
- Coordinate multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, campaign planning, and marketing strategy discussions.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and changing priorities clearly and proactively.
Who You’ll be Working With:
The Marketing Specialist reports to the Senior Manager of Sales Marketing and works closely with members of the Sales and Marketing teams. This role also collaborates with leaders and subject-matter experts across OptiMed’s pharmacy, infusion, clinical, operations, human resources, information technology, and executive functions.
The Marketing Specialist may also coordinate with external vendors, print partners, conference organizers, website resources, and other marketing partners to support campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives.
Skills and Experience You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- One to three years of marketing, communications, design, or digital-media experience; relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Experience creating marketing collateral and digital content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong graphic-design skills and an understanding of brand consistency and visual communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
- Experience with Canva or a similar graphic-design platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience maintaining websites through Squarespace or a similar content-management system preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 or other website and campaign analytics tools preferred.
- Experience with email-marketing or project-management platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or monday.com preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-supported tools such as Figma AI, Gamma, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms preferred.
- Healthcare, pharmacy, benefits, or other regulated-industry marketing experience is a plus.

Work Environment:
