Description

This role involves fabricating precision parts and components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. 


Description of Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining tools to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate components accurately.
  • Utilize micrometers and calipers for quality control checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine operation is a plus.
  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  •  Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment.
  •  Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  •  Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  •  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
  •  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  •  Basic computer skills for recording and reporting production data.
  •  Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
  •  Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
