Job Description:  

The Client Advisory Services Intern is responsible for supporting CAS Staff with accounting issues, workpapers preparation and working within accounting software.  The CAS Intern engages with internal stakeholders in supporting client engagement and displays integrity, work ethic, professionalism, and commitment.  

Responsibilities: 

· The preparation and completion of bookkeeping and workflows.  

· Downloading transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks), analyzing, and reviewing the transactions, recording them to the correct accounts, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and recording and adjusting journal entries, as needed.   

· Works closely with experienced Accounting, Tax and Assurance professionals to deliver excellent client services. 

· Finding solutions to challenges and a team-first approach to client service. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

· Ability to adapt to a wide variety of projects at different skill levels. 

· Interest in learning and developing accounting knowledge. 

· Coachable and eager to learn new technologies and software. 

Qualifications: 

· In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting or another related field.
