Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our team. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, preparing accurate estimates and proposals, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate has experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while meeting company sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, and company-provided leads.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and bids for plumbing and mechanical projects.
- Review project scope, specifications, and customer requirements to develop competitive pricing.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts while meeting company profitability goals.
- Coordinate with Operations and Project Management to ensure projects are scheduled and completed successfully.
- Manage multiple opportunities and maintain accurate sales records using CRM and estimating software.
- Stay current on material pricing, labor costs, and market trends.
- Prepare and process change orders as needed.
- Assist with contract review, payment terms, and customer collections when necessary.
- Attend customer meetings, job walks, networking events, and training sessions as required.
- Maintain a professional image and represent Magnolia Plumbing with the highest level of customer service.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or trade-related education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or commercial construction.
- Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and construction bids preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or estimating software.
- Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
