Composition Brands is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to help ensure inventory accuracy across our growing North American distribution network. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and digging into data to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. The position supports inventory integrity across multiple U.S. distribution facilities, a Canadian warehouse, and a specialized service parts operation.

What You'll Do


Own Inventory Accuracy

  • Monitor inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and cycle count activity.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies across multiple distribution facilities.
  • Support and validate cycle count programs, analyze variances, and drive issue resolution.
  • Monitor slow-moving, excess, obsolete, damaged, and at-risk inventory.
  • Maintain inventory reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and exception reporting. 

Partner Across the Business

  • Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
  • Communicate inventory exceptions, shortages, overages, and recurring issues.
  • Support product transitions, supplier changes, warehouse transfers, and other inventory-impacting activities. 

Improve Processes & Controls

  • Help ensure inventory control procedures are followed consistently across locations.
  • Identify process gaps, recurring transaction errors, and training opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements that strengthen controls, improve visibility, and reduce errors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, location, movement, and transaction data within ERP and WMS systems. 
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or supply chain support.
  • Strong understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counting, transfers, adjustments, receipts, and returns.
  • Experience researching and resolving inventory issues within ERP and WMS systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple facilities and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across operations, logistics, purchasing, customer service, and finance.
