Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving mechanical and electrical systems within the manufacturing facility to ensure improved uptime and efficiency. This role requires technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Working knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience using CMMS software to manage work orders and preventive maintenance.
- Welding, fabrication, and machining experience is a plus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
