Description
- Focus on full-stack design, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns.
- Design, develop and test enterprise web services API’s and backend services.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering.
- Expert in enterprise software design, implementation, and deployment.
- Proficient with JavaScript and Ajax, Angular or React.
- Expert with Spring/Spring Boot or similar framework.
- Independent with a mindset toward continuous learning, a drive for self-study and enrichment, and resourcefulness.
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing level of polish.
- Able to produce lightweight but useful documentation of service design and framework APIs.
- Able to mentor team members and set direction for process, high expectations of quality, coordination, and technical expertise.
- Able to independently research, specify, and design systems using supportable best practices in consideration of tradeoffs, maintainability, and market support
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citzen for DHS clearance suitability.
- BS degree with 10 plus years of experience.
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect preferred.
- Extensive working experience in Agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe as part of multi-team organizations.
- Strong programming skills with Java , Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data), Vert.x, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux.
- Experience developing and designing RESTful APIs and web services using XML, JSON, and their associated technologies.
- Extensive working experience with DevSecOps technologies and practices – Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Working experience with automated QA frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Jest, JUnit/TestNG.
Salary Description
$140,000 to $170,000
