Position Overview:
This role is built for someone who wants ownership. You'll be given a territory and the autonomy to run it — identifying and closing large-scale enterprise deals, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and growing our existing client base. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development (80%)
- Take the lead in identifying large-scale enterprise opportunities within your assigned territory or vertical.
- Build strategic relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and influencers within prospective organizations.
- Understand each client's business objectives and challenges, and position our solutions accordingly.
- Deliver tailored, compelling product demos and pitches.
- Manage complex sales cycles from lead generation through contract negotiation and close.
- Develop and execute your own strategic account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Sharpen your positioning on value, pricing, and competitive differentiation.
- Build referral relationships through events, speaking engagements, and industry networking.
- Grow your expertise in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector.
Account Development (15%)
- Identify growth opportunities within your existing client base.
- Manage accounts strategically to drive continued expansion.
Sales Planning and Operations (5%)
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
- Generate proposals and contracts to close deals efficiently.
- Manage your sales cadence to keep opportunities moving through the funnel.
- Partner with marketing, customer success, and product teams as needed to support client satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and our product offerings.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- At least 5 years of enterprise sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding targets in a high-growth environment (SaaS or technology preferred).
- Established network and experience engaging C-suite and senior executives at large organizations, with the ability to deliver confident, persuasive executive-level presentations.
- Skilled at managing long sales cycles, complex deal structures, and multi-stakeholder negotiations — ideally with enterprise software solutions.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, comfortable moving fast and staying focused under pressure.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and sales activity, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Collaborative when it counts — able to work with internal teams to sharpen strategy without losing ownership of the deal.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Travel Required:
- Ready to travel up to 40% domestically to keep the pulse on market trends and connect with clients face-to-face.
