As our programs continue to grow, we are expanding our sustainment and depot operations capability to support long-term system readiness and lifecycle performance.


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrator to support the daily administrative and operational functions of our warehouse. This role serves as the critical link between warehouse operations, inventory systems, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials and information. 


The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and record-keeping skills with a working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping processes. Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and supporting operational efficiency.


  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  

Warehouse Administration

  • Support the daily administrative operations of the warehouse. 
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, files, and operational documentation. 
  • Prepare and distribute reports related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities. 
  • Assist with general administrative duties to support warehouse operations. 

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). 
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies. 
  • Support cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of reorder requirements or inventory concerns. 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare, maintain, and file warehouse documentation including: 
    • Receiving reports 
    • Inventory records 

Shipping documentation 

  • Compliance records 
  • Generate routine operational reports for warehouse leadership. 
  • Ensure all records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures. 

Operational Support

  • Assist with inventory control activities and warehouse administrative projects. 
  • Assist with mechanical and assembly operations.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and workplace safety requirements. 
  • Provide administrative support for continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of administrative or clerical experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry, record-keeping, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of shipping documentation and inventory control principles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with ERP or WMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse inventory management best practices.
  • Familiarity with OSHA warehouse safety standards.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • JD-STD-001 certification or ability to obtain certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT


This position is primarily based on-site within the warehouse and adjoining office environment. The role requires frequent movement throughout the warehouse to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and administrative activities.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to move throughout the warehouse facility.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
  • Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime during peak operational periods.

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 (based on experience)
