Valet Assist Attendant
Description

About the Role

Legacy Parking manages parking as an asset — and the drive is where an owner’s asset meets its guests. The Valet Assist Attendant is a front-line ambassador for both Legacy and the property, setting the tone for every arrival and departure. This role blends attentive hospitality with disciplined curbside operations to keep the drive safe, orderly, and welcoming.

Valet Assist: A hospitality-forward, self-park-friendly model. The attendant is stationed at the drive to greet guests, open doors, assist with luggage and passengers, direct traffic, and manage the flow of the entrance — while guests typically park their own vehicles nearby. Valet Assist may also include parking or repositioning vehicles when needed. The emphasis is on presence, guidance, and a polished first and last impression rather than full vehicle custody at all times.

This position is a part of the Local 727 Teamsters Union

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift.

• Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner.

• Assist customers and their passengers in and out of their vehicles, including helping them with their luggage and/or personal items.

• Control traffic on the drive to ensure a smooth flow at all times while ensuring the drive itself is safe for pedestrians.

• Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand and drive at all times, free of debris and trash with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.

• Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer vehicle keys and supporting tickets to the next shift's employees.

• Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.

What Success Looks Like

Every guest leaves with a better impression of the property than when they arrived. The drive stays safe and flows smoothly, documentation is accurate at every shift change, and Legacy’s standard of service is delivered consistently — because how a guest is treated at the curb reflects directly on the owner’s asset and their tenant relationships.
