We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality precision parts in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned manufacturing equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Read and follow work instructions, travelers, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts while ensuring proper machine operation.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production concerns.
- Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Accurately complete production, quality, and inspection documentation.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or production delays to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles and company standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in achieving departmental production goals.
- Assist with training and mentoring new machine operators as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical, vocational, or trade school training in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
Required Experience
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Experience in precision manufacturing, metal stamping, machining, assembly, or other production environments is highly desirable.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation is preferred.

Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical equipment, moderate to high noise levels, varying temperatures, oils, lubricants, and other manufacturing-related conditions. Employees must follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Frequently use hands and fingers to handle small parts and operate machinery.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Sufficient visual acuity to inspect parts and read measuring instruments.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment.
