JOB DESCRIPTION


About the Role

ACC is seeking an Entertainment Strategy Assistant to support our team in developing talent  and entertainment-driven strategies for client campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who  lives and breathes pop culture, stays plugged into entertainment and social trends, and enjoys blending research, creativity, and coordination to help shape smart, culturally relevant strategy.  You’ll play a key role in supporting talent logistics, contributing to creative and strategic development, and helping bring client campaigns and activations to life. 


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and consumer trend research to inform client strategy
  • Support consumer segmentation research
  • Support development of go-to-market strategies, new business decks, and RFPs across a variety of brands
  • Contribute to ongoing ideation for client product launches
  • Support content strategy, including creator and social media trend mining
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of entertainment, talent, influencers, social media, music, and broader pop culture trends
  • Conduct initial talent sourcing and research to identify talent based on client objectives, brand fit, and program needs
  • Support creative brainstorming and ideation for client campaigns, events, talent partnerships,  activations, and other initiatives
  • Conduct research and develop initial concepts and recommendations to support client projects
  • Assist with talent payment coordination and deliverables trackers
  • Coordinate and manage travel logistics, including booking flights, hotels, and additional travel needs
  • Assist with expense reports in Expensify
  • Maintain accurate hour and project logging in NetSuite, ensuring time is properly allocated across clients/projects


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend client and internal meetings, take notes, and track action items
  • Maintain talent contact database and support outreach, follow-ups, and contract/approval tracking
  • Compile trend and competitor recaps to keep the strategy team ahead of the culture curve
  • Support event and activation logistics, including occasional on-site assistance
  • Liaise with creative, social, PR, and production teams to align on strategy and talent needs
  • Provide light budget tracking and reconciliation beyond standard expense reporting
  • Assist with organizing and formatting research findings into client-ready decks or one-pagers

Direct Supervisor: Executive Partner and President of ACC


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:

  • 1–2 years of experience in strategy, entertainment marketing, talent relations, or a related field 
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market and cultural trends into strategic insight 
  • Passion for and awareness of entertainment, celebrity, influencer, and pop culture landscapes 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite; familiarity with Expensify, NetSuite, or similar tools a plus 
  • A collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset

Salary Description
$45,000 - $55,000 annually
