Position Title:  Regional Marketing & Outreach Manager

Work Environment:  Field-Based/Remote with Statewide Travel Requirements

Territory:  Florida 

Reports To:  Director of Operation & trategy (or Marketing Director)


Position Summary

The Regional Marketing & Outreach Manager will focus on building meaningful external relationships & creating opportunities that increase patient awareness, referrals & market presence.

This role will oversee event strategy & execution, community outreach initiatives, dispensary collaboration, referral partner development, market research & socail media management.  The position requires a proactive individual who can identify opportunities, develop relationships, coordinate logistics, & measure the effectiveness of outreach activities. 

Works collaboratively with the Strategic Marketing Manager by providing field insights, community feedback, market intelligence & outreach performance data that support marketing strategy, campaign development & organizational growth.  


Position Overview

The Regional Marketing & Outreach Manager is responsible for expanding brand awareness, developing strategic partnerships & identifying growth opportunities through community outreach, events, & relationship development, social media management & all other duties a assigned.

This position serves as a key external representative of the organization throughout Florida, building & maintaining relationships with dispensaries, healthcare providers, referral partners, community organizations & other strategic stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, relationship-driven marketing professional who can independently manage statewide outreach initiatives, evaluate opportunities for business growth, coordinate events & represent the organization professionally in the community.

This is a field-based position requiring statewide travel throughout Florida.


Key Responsibilities


Community Outreach & Strategic Relationship Development

   Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with dispensaries, healthcare providers, medical offices, community organizations

   & other strategic partners.

   Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned external relationships, ensuring consistent communication, engagement & 

   relationship growth.

   Identify opportunities to increase referrals, expand awareness & strengthen community presence.

   Conduct outreach actvities including partner meetings, networking opportunities, educational events & community intitiaves.

   Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, outreach activities, opportunities & outcomes.

   Provide feedback & recommendations regarding market trends, partnership opportunities & community needs.


Dispensary & Referral Partner Collaboration

   Develop & maintain relationships with Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs/Dispensaries throughout Florida)

   Identify opportunities for collaboration, joint initiatives, educational opportunities & referral sources.

   Build relationships with physician offices, healthcare organizations & other potential referral sources.

   Support ongoing communication & engagement with referral partners.

   Track relationship development activities & identify opportunities for continued growth.


Event Strategy, Research & Management

   Research & evaluate statewide event opportunities including:  Community events, Healthcare-related events, Senior-focused

   events, Veteran outreach events, Cannabis-related events & Other strategic community opportunities.

   Analyze event opportunities based on:  Audience alignment, Potential patient acquisition, Brand visibility, Partnership 

   opportunities, Cost considerations & Expected return on investment.

   Manage event planning & execution, including:  Event research & recommendations, Sponsorship evaluation, Registration 

   coordination, Vendor communication, Booth logistics, Staffing requirements, Marketing materials & collateral, Signage & 

   promotional materials & QR codes, tracking methods & promotional codes.

   Represent the orgnization professionally at events & community functions.

   Complete post-event reporting, including:  Leads generated, Appointments scheduled, Patient acquisition results, Costs incurred

   & Overall event performance and ROI.


Market Research & Strategic Support

   Research local markets, community opportunities, competitive activity & potential growth opportunities,

   Provide recommendations to leadership regarding outreach strategies & market development opportunities.

   Assist with strategic marketing initiatives & operational projects as assigned.

   Identify opportunities that support continued growth & expansion.


Local Brand Presence & Reputation Support

   Support local market visibility initiatives & community awareness efforts.

   Monitor business listings & local presence information to ensure accuracy & consistency.

   Monitor customer feedback & reviews, escalating concerns when appropriate.

   Provide insights from community interactions to support marketing strategy & operational improvements.


Social Media Management

   Develop & maintaining a consistent social media presence across designated platforms.

   Create engaging content that promotes company services, educational resources, community involvement & special promotions.

   Schedule & publish content according to the marketing calendar.

   Monitor audience engagement & identify opportunities to increase visibility & community interaction.

   Analyze social media performance & prepare periodic reports highlighting trends, engagement & recommendations for 

   improvement.

   Stay informed of social media best practices & platform updates.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

   Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field preferred. Equivalent

   experience considered.

   Worked a minimum of 3 years of in marketing, outreach, partnership development, event management, community relations or 

   related field preferred.

   Demonstrate experience developing relationships & managing external partnerships.

   Possess strong communication, organization & project management skills.

   Possess the ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities.

   Maintain a strong attention to detail with the ability to evaluate opportunities & measure results.

   Represent the organization in a professional manner & appearance in external settings, company meetings & community

   settings.

   Access to a remote work environment which protects the confidentiality of company & patient information & complies with all 

   applicable company privacy & security policies.

   Comply with all company policies regarding confidentiality, data security & acceptable use of company equipment & systems.

   Available during established business hours & maintain consistent communication with supervisors & team members.

   Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, project management tools & reporting platforms.

   Capability to communicate effectively with Leadership, vendors & internal departments, Attend occasional meetings, conferences 

   & organizational events. 

   Must reside in Florida.


Preferred Qualifications

   Experience in healthcare, wellness, cannabis, medical services or regulated indutries.

   Experience managing statewide or regional outreach initiatives.

   Experience developing referral networks or strategic partnerships.

   Experience evaluating marketing effectiveness and ROI.

   Experience coordinating events from planning through execution.


Travel Requirements

   This position requires frequent statewide travel throughout Florida.  

   Travel responsibilities include:  Community events, Consumer events, Industry events, Dispensary visits, Referral partner 

   meetings, Healthcare office visits & Networking opportunities.

   Travel  expectations include:  Access to personal, reliable vehicle, as well as maintaining a valid driver's license & required 

   insurance coverage, Regular day travel throughout Florida, Occasional overnight travel, Ability to maintain an independent

   flexible schedule based on event & partner needs - including weekends, & the Ability to transport & manage marketing materials, 

   displays, event supplies & promotional items as necessary.

   Travel-related expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy.
