Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for full-time 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in Twinsburg, Ohio. These are advanced, hands-on industrial maintenance positions supporting complex manufacturing equipment and automated production cells.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, PLC ladder-logic troubleshooting, hydraulics, industrial robotics, electrical/electronic systems, welding, and production-equipment repair within a manufacturing environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician performs skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance work involving installation, troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and plant systems. This position requires the ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, combustion, PLC, and robotic equipment problems and implement effective repairs designed to prevent recurring failures.
This role supports automated manufacturing and die-casting equipment and requires the technician to work independently with PLC ladder logic, electrical and hydraulic schematics, robotics, machine-shop equipment, and welding processes.

• 2nd Shift – Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 2 Openings on 2nd Shift
• 3rd Shift – Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 1 Opening on 3rd Shift
• Approximately 50–60 Hours per Week
• Overtime Expected

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Diagnose mechanical equipment malfunctions
• Diagnose electrical and electronic equipment malfunctions
• Diagnose hydraulic system problems
• Diagnose combustion-system operating difficulties
• Determine appropriate repair procedures
• Implement corrective repairs designed to prevent repeat failures
• Troubleshoot automated manufacturing and die-casting machine cells
• Navigate and interpret PLC ladder logic
• Use Allen-Bradley SLC 500 systems for troubleshooting
• Use Allen-Bradley PLC-5 systems for troubleshooting
• Use Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems for troubleshooting
• Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment faults
• Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics
• Troubleshoot ABB industrial robots
• Modify robot positions as required
• Diagnose robotic-cell problems
• Work with ABB M94 robotic systems
• Work with ABB M98 robotic systems
• Work with ABB M2000 robotic systems
• Work with ABB M2600 robotic systems
• Work with ABB M6700 robotic systems
• Install new manufacturing equipment
• Move and align new and existing equipment
• Set up and operate machine-shop equipment
• Perform machine repair and fabrication work
• Perform gas welding
• Perform electric welding
• Complete maintenance and machine-repair records
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment
• Perform proactive maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production uptime and equipment reliability
PLC & CONTROLS EXPERIENCE
This role requires hands-on experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment. Relevant systems include:

ROBOTICS EXPERIENCE

ALLEN-BRADLEY PLC EXPERIENCE IS CRITICAL: Candidates must demonstrate actual hands-on troubleshooting with SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix systems. General PLC exposure without the ability to navigate ladder logic and diagnose production-equipment faults is not sufficient.
DIE-CASTING / AUTOMATED CELL EXPERIENCE: Candidates must be capable of troubleshooting die-casting machine cells or directly comparable automated industrial equipment using PLC information and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
ROBOTICS EXPERIENCE: Experience modifying positions and diagnosing ABB robotic-cell problems is highly relevant. Direct experience with M94, M98, M2000, M2600, or M6700 systems should be documented whenever present.
EDUCATION NOTE: The position requires technical or vocational preparation such as maintenance or industrial-technology coursework, a certificate program, or some college coursework. Equivalent directly related technical training should be carefully documented.
SHIFT NOTE: Candidates must specifically confirm which shift they are pursuing and their ability to work approximately 50–60 hours per week with expected overtime.
