This foundational position requires an individual who possesses a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the desire to grow within an organization undergoing exciting and rapid expansion. This role is mission-critical to the execution of our specialized flushing procedures, ensuring we deliver high-quality results to commercial mechanical companies and Fortune 100 clients across the U.S.

Position Overview: The Technician I plays a vital role in the successful execution of PurgeRite services from start to finish. Working under the supervision of the Senior Tech, this position is responsible for assisting in the mobilization, execution, and demobilization of flushing operations. The ideal candidate is an active learner who is committed to mastering our specialized equipment and adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.


Duties & Responsibilities:

· Project Implementation: Assist with every stage of a project, including mobilization/demobilization, site setup, teardown, and night shift operations as required.

· Operational Readiness: Help ensure all equipment, tools, and vehicles are ready for upcoming projects; assist in performing pre- and post-job checklists.

· Standard Operating Procedures: Strictly follow company SOPs when performing tasks to ensure consistency, efficiency, and technical accuracy.

· Site & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools, facilities, and vehicle cleanliness; assist in on-site and off-site record keeping and documentation.

· Safety & Compliance: Follow and help enforce PurgeRite safety procedures at the shop and on job sites. Maintain a safe and defensive driving record while operating company vehicles.

· Team Collaboration: Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude; work harmoniously with team members and customers to contribute to a positive team effort.

· Technical Learning: Engage in a continuous learning process to understand the full capabilities of flush equipment, filtration tools, and mechanical systems.

· Client Relations: Maintain client confidence by protecting operations and representing PurgeRite with professionalism and punctuality.

Requirements

· Mechanical Aptitude: A demonstrated ability to work with tools and a desire to learn complex mechanical flushing systems.

· Accountability: A strong sense of ownership over tasks and a commitment to regular attendance and punctuality.

· Safety Orientation: OSHA 30 Certified and committed to maintaining a zero-incident work environment.

· Communication: Good verbal communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors and team members.

· Compliance: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a safe, insurable driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Background: Ability to pass comprehensive drug tests and background checks.

· Physical Ability: Capability to work in various outdoor environments (wet, humid, hot, and cold) and lift/move up to 80 lbs.
