Job Summary
- Qualified and performs according to specified procedures and techniques
- Ability to interpret drawings and other documents
- Verify that the equipment to be used for the work is appropriate for the use of the procedure and can meet the applicable requirements
- inspects and certifies work performed to specified standards and completes necessary documentation
- Use of conventional and precision measuring devices
- Operate hoist and forklift in a safe and knowledgeable manner
- Fills hopper, reservoir, trough, or pan with the material used to coat, paint, or spray using a conveyor or pail
- Perform receiving inspection of materials and components, assuring compliance with codes, specifications, and industry standards
- Performs inspection of in-process fabrication and completed work utilizing inspection and test plans
- Organize and prepare traceability, inspection, and report documentation for customer review
- Document nonconformities and recommend corrections for deficiencies discovered during inspection
- Monitor existing processes and track nonconformities to develop preventive and corrective measures
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous related painting experience is required
- welding experience is a plus
GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical requirements – person must be able stand for the entire shift (up to 10 hours).
- Use heavy grinders at waist level for long periods of time.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 250 pounds while being assisted by hoists, slings, forklift or other human or mechanical assistance.

$18-$23 based on experience
