We have a unique opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to support our ADHD portfolio.
The Inside Sales Representative is an entry level position that supports and assists Commercial Sales in achieving departmental goals and objectives. The incumbent builds upon their previous experience and/or education to expand their technical and business knowledge while actively contributing to, and supporting, the development, maintenance and monitoring of assigned clients.
The Inside Sales Representative serves as direct link between the company and health care providers (HCPs) and clients in the assigned geographical region(s). Under direct supervision and training from Sales management and/or other appropriate senior Sales colleagues, incumbent follows proper protocols and compliance with regulatory and company requirements to handle and support standard operational department functions and responsibilities, as assigned. The Inside Sales Representative demonstrates the highest ethical and professional standards with all business contacts to establish and maintain excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community.
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, processes and compliance guidelines and ensures knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements to appropriately respond to sales inquires, disseminate scientific information and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs)
- Establishes, develops and maintains successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned accounts; Provides approved product information and educational resources to healthcare professionals and office staff; Responds to questions related to assigned company products in a cross section of areas including, but not limited to: reimbursement, insurance coverage, prior authorizations and patient assistance resources
- Conducts outbound calls, cold calls and virtual interactions to introduce products, services and patient support resources
- Collaborates with Sales Management to assist with development and tactical execution of strategic account plans to maximize engagement and business opportunities
- Follows up on product samples and educational materials; Accurately documents customer interactions, activities and account insights within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or higher education
- Demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare or business development with self-motivated/competitive spirit and eagerness to learn
- Strong phone presentation skills
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication and skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members
- Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates preferred
- Prior work experience or internships in Business to Business (B2B) sales, recruiting or other customer-facing support service
- Prior experience in a leadership or leadership development-based role (i.e., industry, collegiate, athletic, military, etc.)
- Prior experience in a sales or management development program
Work Arrangements: This is a remote position requiring periodic presence in our New Jersey office for training and special events.
Anticipated salary range: $85 to $100 k/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
