Description


We're looking for a Salesforce Product, Delivery & Support Lead to join our Product team in a unique hybrid leadership role that combines product strategy, technical expertise, people leadership, and delivery excellence.

In this role, you'll serve as the senior leader responsible for the success of our Salesforce platform, partnering closely with Product Management, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value and exceptional customer and employee experiences.

You'll provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor a growing team of Salesforce professionals, and help shape the future of our Salesforce ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with technical execution and team development.


What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Product leadership to define and evolve the Salesforce vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Translate business goals, stakeholder needs, and customer experience opportunities into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead discovery and solution-design conversations to identify business challenges, define requirements, and measure success.
  • Continuously evaluate platform performance, adoption, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Balance innovation, user experience, support needs, platform sustainability, and technical debt when making recommendations.

Provide Technical Leadership

  • Own and evolve the architecture of our Salesforce platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and well-architected principles.
  • Serve as the technical authority across Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated systems.
  • Contribute directly to complex development efforts, code reviews, and solution design using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and Visualforce.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate roadmap initiatives into executable development plans.
  • Champion modern Salesforce DevOps practices, including source-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations and platform capabilities support broader business objectives.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of Salesforce administrators and developers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career growth through meaningful coaching and development opportunities.
  • Delegate work effectively while helping team members expand their skills and capabilities.

Deliver Exceptional Results

  • Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives.
  • Help prioritize work to ensure the team is focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and provide guidance on escalated issues.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and priorities effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure Salesforce capabilities support and accelerate company-wide strategic initiatives.

 

What You Bring: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead, senior lead, or people leadership role.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with: 
    • Salesforce Service Cloud
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • JavaScript
    • Visualforce
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, data modeling, governor limits, and platform best practices.
  • Experience with modern Salesforce DevOps practices, including Salesforce DX, Git, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CLI and related developer tools.
  • Proven experience mentoring and developing technical team members.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, security, and data privacy standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as: 
    • Salesforce Administrator
    • Platform Developer I or II
    • Application Architect
    • System Architect
  • Experience with Python scripting for data and file transformation activities.
  • Background in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
