Associate Product Manager - Edema

Sigvaris is currently looking for an Associate Product Manager - Edema to join our team in Peachtree City, GA.  As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products.  We are a global team on a mission to help people feel their best.  The Associate Product Manager (APM) manages the SIGVARIS GROUP Flat Knit compression garment portfolio, which provides optimal support for people with lymphedema and lipedema.  The APM is responsible for creating, analyzing, and applying effective market-driven strategies required to assist in executing tactical plans toward growing our custom compression business.


As a member of the North American Product Markeing team, the APM will be responsible for the performance of existing product lines and new product launches in the US.  You will also collaborate with Product Managers in other country groups and the Global marketing and manufacturing teams.  You will collaborate broadly across the Executive Leadership Team, Product Marketing Team, Product Development Team, Clinical Sales Specialist Team, and Field Sales Team to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive adoption and utilization of compression products.  You will also be responsible for overall profitability and data-driven recommendations related to your product line.


This position is hybrid.  You must be able to work at our office in Peachtree City, GA 2-3 days per week.  


You must be able to travel up to 20-30% (domestic travel).


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Research and analysis:

     • Research and analyze market conditions, market data, market intelligence, clinical research, and competitive activity to identify key trends.

     • Recommend market requirements and opportunities to build appropriate business plans for new product ideas.

     • Collect and consolidate Voice of Customer feedback to inform Sales & Marketing teams of challenges and opportunities with existing products and recent launches.

     • Collaborate with innovation project teams within North America and Globally.

     • Produce monthly dashboard reports on all key analytics for assigned products and generate actionable insights.


Product Planning and Management:

     • Serve as the marketing and product expert for assigned category and its competitive products.

     • Create and manage project timelines for new product development projects.

     • Work with the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to help develop the most effective pricing strategies.

     • Work with R&D, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to develop product planning and launch strategies.

     • Coordinate with design teams to create product-related marketing assets.

     • Work with Purchasing to negotiate with suppliers as needed.

     • Manage and communicate with cross-functional teams as the product owner.

     • Coordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback on new product designs or product positioning for assigned product lines, raising product performance issues to global engineering teams as needed.

     • Maintain a frontline presence for customer experience, assisting Sales & Operations with critical troubleshooting, systems optimization, and fitter training.

     • Track key sales metrics to provide insights, such as market penetration opportunities, product lifecycle needs, or cost-out initiatives.

     • Assist Sales leadership in identifying and developing Product Champions for existing and newly launched products across clinical specialties and customer types.

     • Assist Director of Marketing in defining the go-to-market strategy and sales forecasting of new products and manage products through all stages of their lifecycle.

     • Assist Director of Marketing in developing value propositions and messaging for new product launches.

     • Assist Director of Marketing in creation of business plans or other strategic plans.

     • Assist Customer Service with custom product needs and processes, liaising with the Global Flat Knit teams to optimize processes as needed.


Product Marketing:

     • Work with the Marketing Communications, Medical Education, Sales Training, Global Marketing, and the Creative Design teams to develop sales tools and training materials.

     • Develop and present impactful training content for the Field Sales team with Sales Training for new product launches and competitive products.

     • Develop and influence key customer relationships by participating in field rides, providing product demonstrations to customers and clinicians, and collaborating with Field Sales and Clinical Specialist Teams.

     • Develop product marketing plans and campaigns to generate assigned product line awareness and demand.

     • Partner with Marketing, Medical Education, and Field Sales in US conferences and tradeshows, education events, focus groups, and Key Customer events to deliver impactful product information and presentations for focus products.

     • Assist commercialization directors (sales, marketing, and L&L) in identifying key Customers and Key Opinion Leaders to improve product adoption and utilization.

     • Accurately and coherently present written information to affected internal/external customers.

     • Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGAVRIS policies, FDA regulations, industry standards, HIPAA requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws.

     • Follows all work instructions to create and maintain accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.

     • Accurately performs any other duties assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.

Requirements


EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:

     • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or other applicable fields of study from an accredited institution is required.  MBA/Advanced degree preferred.

     • A minimum of two to three years of marketing experience, brand, and/or product management experience is required or a combination of marketing and a related business experience.

     • Demonstrated product launch experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     • Familiarity in healthcare, clinical, and/or reimbursement environments

     • Regulatory environments (e.g. FDA, ISO)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment (production floor).  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.

     • Regularly required to sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, bend, lift, or climb.

     • Occasionally required to lift light weights (less than 25 pounds).
