Overview of this Position:

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler has the primary responsibility of generating work orders and creating schedules for upcoming maintenance events.


Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  •  Associate’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline and 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. Will consider candidates with a strong work history and 6+ years of planning /scheduling experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, & PowerPoint. 

Preferred Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, and/or an asset management role.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a GMP environment. 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Capable of reading and comprehending system and equipment manuals, schematics, job plans, and equipment drawings of all types.
  • Capable of performing advanced internet searches pertaining to vendor, OEM, & OPM websites and parts.
  • Capable of engaging in highly effective interpersonal communications with co-workers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, OEMs, & OPMs.
  • Must possess good analytical skills and be a proficient at critical thinking.
  • Must ensure 100% data integrity, pertaining to CMMS asset records & work orders.
  • Must be capable of mining and analyzing historical and real time asset data and conveying important and  value-added observations and recommendations to management.
  • Must be capable of proficient technical writing relating to constructing detailed processes, work packages, & reports regarding equipment repairs, cost analysis, inventory control, process flows, and various information associated with planning, scheduling, and forecasting
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to independently set and hit critical planning and scheduling deadlines.
  • Must possess journeyman level knowledge of manufacturing automation, utility systems, industrial equipment, process equipment, tools & materials.
  • Capable of quickly and accurately performing basic mathematical computations related to cost estimating and purchasing.
  • Must be capable of spending at least 8-10 hours per week maneuvering (walking, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs & ladders, and/or squatting) through multiple plants observing functional systems and process equipment
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and ability to follow CFR guidelines.
