The Opportunity
As a Purchasing Agent, you will:
- Manage non-stock purchasing and help ensure buying accuracy
- Review, validate, and maintain accurate pricing within our ERP system
- Analyze purchasing and inventory reports to make sound buying decisions
- Help achieve inventory-turn goals
- Maintain accurate and detailed inventory records
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification
- Coordinate vendor returns and resolve purchasing discrepancies
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve our purchasing processes
