Pay Information:
- With RN/LPN license: $31 - $35 per hour
- Without RN/LPN license: $29.98 - $33.98 per hour
SUMMARY:
To provide leadership and guidance to support staff to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care. Embracing and enforcing the company’s core values to continually improve employee engagement. Employee liaison for ideas to improve processes and overall company operations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and evaluates Nurses and Medical Assistants
- Provides assistance with staffing coverage as needed
- Assists in the development, implementation and adherence of office policies and procedures as well as enforcement of policies and the company’s core values
- Collaborates with nurses, providers and the operations and leadership teams to set goals, objectives and the annual budget
- Attends regularly scheduled operations and nursing L10 meetings
- Assists Operations Manager with general building maintenance and keeps patients and staff areas neat and organized
- Assists Operations Manager in investigations of patient complaints/concerns, discharges and transfers as needed
- Assists Operations Manager will rolling out new lines of service to direct reports
- Provides requested information regarding the hiring, firing and disciplinary actions of their staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate/some college and/or Associate's degree
- 3-5 years of management experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- New York LPN or RN license
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in supervision of staff and management of policies and procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
The physical requirements and working environment are typical of most medical office settings. Employees are frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, balance, hear, talk, reach, and use their hands. Employees may occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (stepstool) and stretch. Physical effort requires some lifting usually not in excess of 15 pounds.
