Come grow with us! The Woodbridge School at Partners in Child Development in Andover, MA is looking for a kind, patient, and engaging full-time Assistant Teacher. We invite you to join our growing Woodbridge School Early Childhood teaching team. Being a smaller school, you get to be part of a close-knit, supportive, and dedicated team. The Woodbridge School program runs on a Monday-Friday basis from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and operates on a 12-month calendar. The present program opening is a 40 hours per week position. Candidates will be scheduled for an 8-hour shift that may vary between 7:30am-4:30pm. 


Role Responsibilities


In this role, you will move between our three classrooms as needed to:

  • engage with children ages 18 months to 5 years in play 
  • help with classroom activities
  • maintain a clean and neat classroom environment
  • diapering and toileting
  • spend time outdoors in all seasons

 What You Bring

  • At least 6 months of previous Early Education experience required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Commitment to caring for the wellbeing of young children.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Mostly active - must be able to sit, bend, kneel and lift 25 pounds

Compensation Range:

$19.79 - $22.42 per hour
