Description

 

Join our production team as a Roller & Folder, where you'll play an important role in producing quality finished products. In this hands-on position, you'll operate an assigned production table, roll and fold material, package finished products, and help keep production running smoothly.

You'll work closely with the Lead Operator and your team to meet production goals while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and housekeeping. This is a fast-paced position that is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, works well with others, and takes pride in doing a job well.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Roll, fold, package, and load materials according to product specifications.
  • Assist with production table setup and operation.
  • Inspect materials and finished rolls for quality.
  • Follow production schedules, packaging instructions, and labeling requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Follow all company safety and production procedures.
  • Report quality, safety, or production concerns promptly.


Requirements

 What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Able to follow instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and contribute to the team.

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand basic written instructions, labels, and production requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic math, including counting, addition, subtraction, and fractions.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to learn production equipment, software, scanning, labeling, and data-entry processes.
  • Ability to recognize and communicate quality, safety, or production concerns.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on production position. The employee must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle materials and equipment.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Visually inspect materials and finished products.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise, heat, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles.
