Position Summary

Pressco Products is seeking an experienced Program / Account Manager to manage assigned aerospace customer accounts and programs. This role coordinates customer requirements, purchase orders, schedules, pricing, internal communication, and program status to help ensure parts are delivered on time, within customer expectations, and in compliance with applicable quality requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned customer statements of work, including schedule commitments, budget expectations, customer requirements, and quality standards.
  • Use customer portals and program systems, such as MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS, and other assigned customer platforms, to access requirements, track program information, and support efficient project execution.
  • Review and prepare proposals, contracts, and long-term agreement requirements for new and existing parts and customers. Coordinate with engineering, estimating, production leads, and customer service to confirm requirements, pricing, timing, and commitments before customer submission or approval.
  • Lead program planning by reviewing pricing and cost considerations, negotiating when appropriate, confirming lead times, identifying risks or issues, tracking project status, and supporting completion requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics, proactively identifying production bottlenecks to ensure 100% adherence to customer schedules.
  • Request vendor lead times, compare them against customer and production schedules, and recommend expedited options when needed. Evaluate cost impacts before approving or communicating schedule changes.
  • Communicate program requests, schedule updates, status reports, and potential roadblocks to production managers, manufacturing leaders, internal team members, and customers as needed.
  • Work with the estimating team on requests for quote and manage engineering change requests to ensure pricing, scope, schedule, and customer requirements are understood and documented.
  • Manage customer purchase orders, purchase order changes, and approvals. Ensure changes are documented, authorized, communicated, and processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare Open Order Reports (OOR), Work in Process (WIP) Trackers, and Line of Balance (LOB) projects as requested by customers and programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer and product support, proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. 
  • Act as a liaison and attend required meetings/conference calls (video or phone) with customers, fostering clear communication and managing expectations. 
  • Maintain program status and schedule updates, informing production leadership and the customer of progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, account management, customer service, or a closely related role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience using customer portals, workspaces, or program systems such as MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS, or similar customer platforms.
  • Strong understanding of purchase order processing and change order management.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned customer accounts, build effective processes, and help shape the role as the company continues to grow.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, communicate proactively, and respond with appropriate urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning project management, ERP, and customer portal systems.
  • US Citizenship is a requirement. 
  • Must be fluent in English.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations, machining or fabrication processes, and basic aerospace engineering concepts.
  • General knowledge of quality systems, finance, and purchasing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of contracts/sales, terms and conditions.


Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, on-site, hourly non-exempt position with a wage range of $40.00 to $48.00 per hour, depending on experience. Pressco offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, hearing, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k), and optional supplemental insurance. Occasional remote work may be available after discussion and approval.
