The Retail Attendant will anticipate guests’ needs, provide items to enhance their experiences, and deliver on the Southall brand promise.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all guests into the boutique/retail space immediately
- Provide the highest level of customer service to identify guest needs and promote Southall as a brand
- Ensure guest satisfaction by creating an emotional connection, being attentive, and answering questions.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve problems with guests’ satisfaction while cultivating trust and respect as a steward of Southall
- Provide endless options for retail experiences across all channels, including multiple retail spaces, e-commerce, and property destinations.
- Maintain Strong knowledge of all brands and artisans to effectively describe and sell merchandise
- Take ownership of daily stocking, visual presentation, and merchandising of boutique/retail spaces.
- Collaborate with numerous departments to upsell and enhance guest experiences throughout the property.
- Meet or exceed KPI goals with a clear understanding of role expectations in a retail setting
- Accurately operate a POS/computer system, including processing transactions, fulfilling online and e-commerce orders, and ensuring timely shipment of orders
- Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are a must.
- 1-3 years of retail experience preferred
- Working knowledge of POS and computer systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly motivated to take initiative, excel independently, and maintain pristine organizational standards across all boutique and stock areas.
- Ability to remain flexible and collaborative in a dynamic retail environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to bend, reach, and carry up to 30 pounds.
- High School Diploma preferred
