Description
The Conservatory Office Support Assistant position for Federal Work Study eligible students will work closely with the Conservatory administrative assistant. This position will gain practical workplace experience in a professional office environment. This position is designed to help students develop transferable skills in communication, organization, technology, and office operations while contributing to the daily functions of the department.
Learning Opportunities:
This position provides real-world experience in arts administration, working in a team environment, and learning how administrative functions support organizational goals and daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing electronic and paper records.
- Prepare correspondence.
- Monitor supplies and assist with inventory and ordering.
- Support special projects, events, and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of student, employee, and organizational information.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
- Available for flexible scheduling
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
Availability:
- Applicants must be available for a minimum of two days per week in two-hour time slots.

Salary Description
