Proposal/Technical Writer & Manager
Position: Full-Time / Hybrid – Remote / Onsite 2-3 Days per Week (Primarily remote after 1 year)

Caladwich Consulting is looking for a proposal/technical writer to support the Business Development department in the generation/support of proposals to government agencies. Caladwich is an SBA certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and SBA-certified 8(a) SB with extensive prime performance in Program Management, Cybersecurity, Supply Chain Management, Asset / Inventory Management, Logistics Management and Category Management. The position requires strong technical writing skills, as a large portion of this position (~75%) will be spent drafting, composing, and editing compelling technical responses to government solicitations, information papers, and press releases. Additional responsibilities are heavily focused on research and development of proposals, including reading relevant government documentation. The position will report to the Director of Business Development and additionally assist in other BD activities as required.
This role requires a highly organized, proactive approach to tracking solicitation opportunities and working with a team to respond to them in a timely, compliant fashion. Position responsibilities require meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with a team to analyze project requirements and develop solutions.

Core Responsibilities
· Support RFP/RFQ/RFI, Sources Sought and Task Order responses.
· Develop executive summaries, technical approaches, staffing and transition plans.
· Research opportunities using SAM.gov, GovWin, GSA eBuy, FPDS, USAspending and related tools.
· Coordinate proposal schedules, compliance reviews, and production.
· Maintain SharePoint proposal repositories and reusable content.
· Coordinate with teaming partners and Government stakeholders.
· Support market research and business development outreach.
Operational Support
· Manage proposal schedules and deadlines.
· Draft, edit, and proofread technical content.
· Maintain opportunity pipeline information.
· Improve proposal processes and templates.
· Support executive communications and content development.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Acquisition Management, Finance, Public Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent federal acquisition experience may be considered.
· Federal Government Contracting: 5 years (Required)
· 5-7 years of Federal Government proposal writing & solicitation Responses (RFI & RFP)
· 3 Years of Federal Government proposal management experience
· Excellent research and writing skills
· Proficient in MS Office to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel
· Communicate and collaborate transparently with leadership
· Self-starter with ability to manage strict deadlines
· Team Player with excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
Preferred Candidates:
· APMP certification or Shipley proposal management or writing training
· Ability to develop basic graphics in PowerPoint

· Must be able to pass background investigations including a FBI fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) adjudication.
