Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We're looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you'll combine hands-on nursing with care coordination, advocacy, and clinical oversight to support health, safety, and quality of life.Applicants with either an active RN or LPN license are encouraged to apply and will be considered for this position. What You'll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor health status and respond to changes with appropriate interventions
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to support staff
  • Train staff, caregivers, and individuals on health-related topics
  • Ensure accurate documentation and medication management
  • Coordinate care with providers, pharmacies, and community partners
  • Participate in care reviews, team meetings, and service planning
  • Support compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
  • Commitment to person-centered care and advocacy

Compensation


Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 per year

Salary is based on the currently held active license (RN or LPN), experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Active RN or LPN license (multi-state preferred if applicable)
  • ASN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
  • At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience
  • Experience with IDD, developmental disabilities, or long-term care preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with EHR systems and basic computer tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • BLS certification
Salary Description
Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 per year
