Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and promote the mission, values and principles of Powernet.
- Work as the crew leader, leading the cabling team on the jobsite.
- Work with Service Management and vendor partners for customers job supplies.
- Troubleshoot, research, and resolve all job-site issues with little to no supervision.
- Communicate regularly with Cabling Manager, updates for the jobs and any issues that may arise.
- Represent the company in appearance and actions.
- Train the cabling technicians, and make sure they follow company procedures.
- Work with customers to ensure cabling projects are completed timely and within budget.
- Complete time and supply entry in Halo by customer in a timely manner.
- Work with internal departments to assist with job completion in systems.
- Manage multiple activities and tasks simultaneously
- Follow documented Powernet policies and procedures.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great work attitude, eager to help cabling team members and customers.
- Experience with project planning and management.
- 3-5 years of structured cabling experience.
- Including, but not limited to; CAT-6, 6A cabling installations and testing, Fiber Optic cable installing, terminating, splicing & testing, A/V, CCTV, DAS, Access Control, Intercom & Security Cameras.
- Possess competent testing and troubleshooting skills on a variety of systems.
- 1+ years of telecom experience.
- Must possess a valid driver license.
