Objective:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients, potential clients and team members. Provides all passengers with a safe, pleasant and efficient transportation experience while driving Hermes Worldwide vehicles within the greater Denver and surrounding states/areas. Builds long term business relationships with repeat clients to ensure client satisfaction and continued revenue growth for Hermes Worldwide.
Essential Functions:
- Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to internal and external clients, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints.
- Operates all vehicles within state and federal laws including, but not limited to, speed limits and road signs.
- Transports passengers to/from various destinations while offering a warm greeting to each passenger at first sight, verbal and non-verbal, safely loading and unloading passengers and their belongings. Ensure all passengers and their belongings are secured prior to departure or vehicle operation.
- Adheres to pick up and drop off times as outlined by passenger and communicated by dispatch. On-time to Hermes Worldwide means arriving at destination no later than 15 minutes before pre-determined pick up time.
- Engages in conversation with passengers as appropriate, is knowledgeable and shares information about the city, attractions and events. Acts as an ambassador to Denver and surrounding areas.
- Prepares route for trip prior to departure utilizing map books, GPS and/or other approved programs as available. Reviews trip tickets prior to departure for pertinent information for all trips assigned for shift.
- Prior to departure, ensure vehicle pre-check is completed, vehicle is fully stocked with necessary items.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout shift.
- Communicates with dispatch throughout shift regarding status accurately and in a timely manner. Promptly notify regarding any changes in schedules, reservation and/or requests by clients; wait for approval from dispatch prior to making any changes to trip as outlined.
- Timely and accurately tracks hours of service in DOT logging application.
- Accurately completes all required paperwork throughout shift, including, but not limited to, trip tickets, pre- and post-vehicle checks, vehicle condition reports, etc.
- Knowledge of the greater Denver and surrounding areas geography and highways. Is knowledgeable of traffic patterns that might impact trip times and adjusts accordingly.
- Uses sales and client service skills and techniques to maximize revenue and reservations for future business.
- Completes PAX training and adheres to skills learned.
- Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, client, credit card, team member and proprietary company information.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment:
This job operates a multitude of motor vehicles throughout the day. Working both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid and dry/arid conditions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Requires the following:
- Ability to walk and stand intermittently during the entire work shift.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while operating a motor vehicle.
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds regularly during work shift.
- Meet all physical requirement as outlined by Department of Transportation (DOT).
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
Position could be part-time (average under 30 hours per week) or full -time (average over 30 hours per week) with availability 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, hours vary to meet the needs of Hermes Worldwide.
Travel:
Out of town trips( OTRs) are often necessary to accommodate client needs. May require overnight stays.
Required Education and Experience:
- Knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
- Maintain a minimum of Class B P2 license or higher as required to drive specific vehicles.
- CDL license required to operate specific vehicles.
