The Scan Center Clerk performs fast paced, clerical work (similar to product and manufacturing environments) preparing documents and records for scanning. Responsible for data and image quality monitoring, evaluation, and calibration scoring. This position is a critical factor in improving product quality. The team processes documents from multiple industries including courts, financial institutions, banks, mortgage companies, and construction. Individuals in this role are expected to follow procedures, meet output and quality expectations, and complete their responsibilities in a safe manner.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience
Shifts: Monday - Friday; In-Office 8:00AM-4:30PM
Responsibilities
- Prepare documents for scanning by organizing and straightening pages, removing staples and other bindings, cutting, taping, and sifting through pages.
- Perform quality control procedures on scanned documents batches, including rescans and correction of document breaks, and indexing errors.
- Ensure that all pages are correctly scanned, that there are no missing documents or double scans.
- Follows work processes to ensure optimal output, quality, and downstream process integrity.
- Examine documents to ensure quality images.
- Keeps up on training and changes to how work is to be performed.
- Responsible for meeting output requirements as defined by team lead (or supervisor)
- Ensures that equipment such as scanners and other processing tools are operating as intended.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-pound boxes
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Reaching, pushing, and lifting boxes between 20-40 pounds
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity.
- Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers are required
