Manufacturing Machine Operator

Owensville, MO | Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Starting at $17/hour+ depending on experience and work history |Overtime and Saturdays as needed

At Jahabow, we manufacture commercial-grade display cases and fixtures for some of the nation's largest retailers, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Kohl's, and Academy.

We're looking for a Machine Operator with previous experience operating manufacturing equipment, such as metal saws, punch presses, mills, CNC machines, or similar machinery. Experience can come from a manufacturing environment, fabrication shop, maintenance role, agricultural operation, trade work, or a personal workshop.

We will train the right candidate on our specific equipment and processes, but applicants should have prior experience operating machinery and be mechanically inclined.

What You'll Do

• Operate aluminum processing equipment, including saws, punch presses, mills, and CNC machinery
• Load materials and run jobs according to specifications
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
• Inspect finished products using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate concerns to supervisors
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC equipment
• Forklift experience or certification
• Experience with quality inspections and measurement tools
• Experience working with aluminum or metal fabrication

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment. Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
